Multi Crore Scam in Neeru Chettu Scheme in AP

YSR Congress Party MLC Gangula Prabhakar Reddy alleged that multi crore scam was taken place in the implementation of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's scheme ' Neeru - Chettu ' programme.

In Alagadda assembly constituency alone, he claimed Rs 80 crore were siphoned of by the ruling party leaders. Speaking to newsmen in Vijayawada, the MLC said that the Janmabhoomi committees were exploiting the scheme by diverting the funds for their own works .

Reddy also came down heavily on Chandrababu for the latter's failure in fulfilling the promise of providing unemployment dole to the youth and job opportunity in every household. The regular foreign visits by CM mounted crores of rupees financial burden on the state exchequer.

It was Chandrababu who hailed the centre for announcing special package in the place of specail status and also booked cases against people who fought for special status demand, he said and questioned the contribution of the TDP Chief to the Telugu state except indulging in political conspiracies and backstabbing politics all through his 40 year political career.
