More New Leaders Joining YSRCP Lately

  • Leaders and activists of other parties attracted by YS Jagan's fight for people
  • Migration to YSRCP to stand by the people
  • Kotagiri Sridhar to join YSRCP on January 29
  • Public meeting in Dwaraka Tirumala
West Godavari: YSRCP is being consolidated by the day in AP. Being a responsible opposition party, YSRCP is performing its duty so efficiently that it is attracting new leaders from other parties everyday, adding to its strength in the direction of working for people's welfare. The relent fights being performed by the leader of opposition and YSRCP president, YS Jagan are attracting them.

Last month, Congress president of East Godavari district Kandula Ramesh, former MLC Kandula Durgesh, BJP state president and former MLA Vellampally Srinivas and former CM Kasu Brahmananda Reddy's grandson Kasu Mahesh Reddy joined YSRCP.

Certain families from Banaganapalle TDP in Kurnool district joined the party in the presence of former MLA Katasani Ramireddy. TDP and Congress parties' leaders later came forward to walk with YS Jagan.

Congress leader from Palamaneru of Chittoor district and DCC vice-president, Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy on the 24th of this month. Certain MPTCs, sarpanchs and single window directors joined YSRCP and YS Jagan welcomed them into the party by decorating them with party scarves. Former minister Kotagiri Vidyadhar Rao's son, Kotagiri Sridhar Babu, TDO leader Balaram and certain other leaders are all set to join YSRCP on the 29th of this month, in a huge meeting to be conducted.

The yellow party being weakened
Leaders of TDP in West Godavari came out public with internal disputes. 15 MLAs and 4 MPs belong to TDP. The one seat won by BJP has become a hazard to the TDP-BJP friendship. Unlike earlier days when a minister's words used to be given utmost importance by all members ranging from MLAs to activists, now senior - junior disparities are taking force. In constituency Chintalapudi, there has recently been a verbal war between minister Peetala Sujatha and MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar. While all constituencies have coordination committees to solve problems in mandals,  there is none in Chintalapudi. Senior leaders are staying far from activities, due to the prominence being offered to new leaders.

In Tadepalligudem, Manikyala Rao is representing for state ministers' council, but is unable to take care of internal relations in the constituency level. Achanta constituency is represented by Pithani Satyanarayana. He is participating in developmental programmes of the constituency but staying away from district level review meetings and coordination committee meetings. Senior - junior disparities are taking control here as well.

Work under Neeru- Chettu scheme has all been done by the relatives or friends or benamis of TDP MLAs. Some are also controlling panchayats. Some others are exploiting free sand scheme. Officers also do not seem to be bothered about such incidents. Misdeeds of TDP leaders are drawing the disgust of leaders and activists within the party. They are soon turning towards YSRCP.

Arrangements done for public meeting
Arrangements for the huge public meeting to be held at Dwaraka Tirumala tomorrow are almost done. Prominent leader from the district Kotagiri Vidyadhar Rao's son, Kotagiri Sridhar is going to join YSRCP in the presence of the leader of opposition and YSRCP president, YS Jagan. YS Jagan will reach Rajahmundry by 2 p.m. on January 29 and travel by road to Dwaraka Tirumala by 3:30 p.m. YSRCP's president of West Godavari district, Alla Nani, announced that YS Jagan would pay a devotional visit to the temple first and then would attend the public meeting.
