The Minister Has No Commitment To His District

Nellore: YSRCP MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy complained that local TDP leader and municipal minister Narayana had no commitment towards his own district, Nellore. He held Praja Bata programme at the 25th division on Thursday and discussed with people about their problems. People took to the notice of the minister about the bad state of sanitation and improper electricity supply.

Speaking on this occasion, Kotamreddy mentioned that the Government had provided SC, ST sub-plan laws for the welfare of the Dalits and the Girijans and the work to happen under these laws was happening in all municipalities and corporations, but not in the corporation to which municipal minister Narayana belonged. He commented that at least tenders had not been called for and agreements had not been made with the contractors.

Criticising that the minister should feel this as an insult, Sridhar Reddy suggested that the municipal mayor and minister Narayana should show a little more initiative and quicken the work and cautioned that more delay would not be tolerated.
