Midhun Reddy’s Resignation A Matter Of Pride For Mom

YSRCP MP Midhun Reddy was among the 5 MPs from the party who submitted resignations to their posts after the Centre failed to soften its stand over granting of Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh.

Midhun's mother Swarnamma on Saturday met him at the AP Bhavan where the YSRCP MPs are on an indefinite hunger stroke to bring pressure on the NDA-led BJP government over the SCS issue. She went there to check on the state of his health.

She said she was proud of the fact that her son had given up his post for the sake of the people of the state. She also said that politicians should not desire plum posts and money. Instead they have to be ready to fight relentlessly for the good for people, she added.
