New Delhi: YSRCP MP's hunger strike for the special category status of Andhra Pradesh entered the third day. Of the five MP's, Lok Sabha member representing Nellore, Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy, has been shifted to hospital after he fell ill on Saturday while the other four MP's are continuing their hunger strike at AP Bhavan in the national capital. Reddy has been continuing the strike from hospital though his health condition is deteriorating, doctors said.
He has been advised by the doctors attending on him to discontinue his fast, but the veteran YSRCP leader and member of the Lower House is reported to have said that securing SCS to AP was above everything else, including one's own health and well-being.
