Hyderabad, May 29, 2013: Describing the two-day Mahanadu as
a farce, YSR Congress has said that TDP agenda is in no way different to that
of the extended Congress executive meeting of Congress as both the parties have
common goal of criticizing YSR and his family members.
“Naidu has been a
manipulator and can manage institutions has been our contention and we did not
comment that TDP is influencing judiciary. We respect judiciary and we have
been only questioning the style of functioning of CBI while Naidu has been
distorting our Honoray President YS Vijayamma’s remarks,” party spokesperson
Gattu Ramachandra Rao told reporters here on Wednesday.

We have been finding
fault with the functioning of CBI but we never commented against judiciary
while Naidu has been defacing our statements. Not just YSRCP, all the national
opposition parties from BJP, to SP to DMK, BSP every party has said that CBI
acts according to the dictates of the Central government.
Naidu has been close to
the Congress High Command since long and he has been working with it very
closely to fight the common adversary YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

issue or lobbying in Delhi to instigate law enforcing agencies against YS Jagan
Mohan Reddy and his economic interests, Naidu has been in the good looks of the
Congress High Command. The nexus between TDP,
CBI and a section of media has been well exposed as we have seen the three
speak in the same tone and in quick succession, he said.
The Mahanadu, ended with
tall promises which cannot be implemented as farmers loan waiver is a central
subject and not a state one. While Naidu was Chief Minister, he could not keep
his promises and he diluted all NTR welfare schemes as the present Congress government
is doing away with YSR schemes, he said.
Naidu has usurped the Party and symbol from NTR and his nine year term is full of anti-people decisions that affected all sections of the society. Normally, Party plenary or Mahanadu should be held to introspect its performance, chalk out a future programme and announce its agenda for the next term.
TDP has been trying to invoke NTR as the leadership has lost its grip over the party and the cadre. TDP has won the state elections in 1999 by default and never did Chandrababu Naidu won any election on his own. In the recent by-election the party base has eroded very fast, he said.
“Here we have seen that TDP and Congress targeting YSR and his family members. Still we are fighting the battle with the true spirit and we will win the final battle,” he said.
