Let's Support YS Jagan's Rythu Deeksha

Guntur: YSR Congress Party chief and leader of the opposition in AP Assembly YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has once again gearing up to fight for the cause of farmers. Demanding minimum support prices for the agriculture produce of farmers, YS jagan will launch deeksha at Nallapadu in Guntur district.  YS Jagan has decided to take cudgels on behalf of the farmers after it came to light that the buyers at the market yards have formed a cartel and under-quoted the price.

All arrangements were made for the protest programme near Chilly Agricultural Yard at Nallapadu in the district. YS Jagan will sit in deeksha on may 1 and 2. 
Farmers ransacked office of agriculture market yard in Guntur demanding fair price for their chilli produce. And, YS Jagan moved by the suicide of chilli farmer. 

He directly spoke to farmers  at the mirchi yard and learnt about their problems. 
Although, the AP state government promised to set up price stabilisation fund with Rs 5 crore, so far nothing is materialised. 
Moved by the plight of farmers, YS Jagan has decided to sit in deeksha in order exert pressure on the state government. When two farmers committed suicide recently due to loss incurred after selling the produce. YS Jagan visited the Guntur agriculture yard and learnt about the problems facing by the farmers. 

Speaking to media persons, YSRCP leaders appealed to farmers and party activists irrespective of political parties to make the protest programme a big success.
