- Only then will politicians think before making
promises - Otherwise Chandrababu might promise an air
plane for every household - Gadapagadapaku YSR Congress meant to mobilise
people - YS Jagan’s tour in West Godavari District
West Godavari (Eluru): The leader of opposition and YSRCP
president YS Jagan is on a quick tour in the district. He is greeting everyone
affectionately and learning their problems to assure them of his support in
their alleviation.
On Tuesday night during his tour, YS Jagan decorated the statue
of Dr. YS Rajasekhar Reddy in Pothavaram village of Nallajarla mandal with
flower garlands and paid tribute to him. He addressed the people on the
occasion. He remarked that the Government should be under fear of guilt about
not realizing the promises made to the people. He suggested that the people
should be mobilized in such a way as to confront the Government about making
impossible promises and failing to keep them. YS Jagan stated that the leaders
should be made aware that the people would not hesitate to pull them on to the
road and question them about not keeping their word. Only then would
politicians think before making promises, YS Jagan indicated. Otherwise leaders
like Chandrababu could even promised a car or an air plane per every household,
he ridiculed.
YS Jagan mentioned that Gadapagadapaku YSR Congress programme
was being held by YSRCP in order to make people aware of how impossible
promises had been made by TDP and how people had been deceived. He called for
them to respond to the Praja ballot, a 100-point questionnaire in order to
realise how efficient Chandrababu’s Government had been in implementing the
promised deeds.
