Hyderabad: YSRCP President YS Jagan offered congratulations to Sakshi Malik for winning a bronze medal for India in Rio Olympics. He mentioned that India was proud of her. Sakshi Malik ended India's painful wait and opened the account of medals for India in the Olympics by winning bronze in women's freestyle wrestling of 58kg category.

She pulled off a sensational 8-5 victory over Aisuluu Tynybekova of Kyrgyzstan, making Indian flag fly with pride in Brazil.
