Kakinada: YSR Congress Party senior leader Dharmana Prasada Rao lambasted Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for the latter's failure in fulfilling even a single promise made to the people of Kakinada municipal corporation during 2014 election.
Speaking to the media at the party office in kakinada, Dharmana said that the promise of promoting Kakinada as Smart City and setting up of a university was still on papers. Drainage problem and mosquito menace have not been addressed since three years in the town, Dharmana said and demanded Chandrabadu to seek votes only after making public the details of the development programmes taken up in Kakinada in the last three years.
The YSR Congress leader cautioned people not to fall prey to the false promises being made by Chandrababu in the ensuing election. He urged the people to vote YSR Congress as the party will come to power in 2019 elections and develop the corporation. Dharmana also demanded the TDP explain the utilisation of central funds given to Andhra Pradesh to the people under various centrally sponsored schemes.
