Justice being denied to Jagan: Sharmila

May 28, 2013: Saying that justice is being denied to YSR Congress President Sri
Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for the last one year, Smt. Y.S.Sharmila warned both
Congress and TDP that people are waiting for an opportunity to punish them for
their sins.
Addressing a huge
public meeting at Narasapuram in WG district during the course of her Maro
Praja Prasthanam Padayatra Monday evening, she said people were waiting to give
their verdict that would usher in the Rajanna Rajyam.
She said both Congress
and TDP were terrified of losing their political existence after Sri Jagan
Mohan Reddy became closer to the masses through his Odarpu Yatra. “When an
envious Congress high command failed to stop his Odarpu Yatra, he came out of
the Congress alone but the people stood behind him. But Congress and TDP joined
hands with CBI against him and foisted false cases on him to suppress him
politically and also economically,” she said.
Smt. Sharmila said the
cases were foisted on Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy with a view to distance him from
the people. “Instead of probing to find out whether any irregularities or
illegalities took place in the issuance of the 26 GOs, CBI only targeted only
Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy and the investors.”
People know that Sri
Jagan Mohan Reddy has become a victim of political vendetta and are only
waiting to teach a fitting lesson to the two parties-TDP and Congress. “That
day is not far off,” she warned.
Earlier, thousands of
people, who attended the public meeting, had expressed their protest holding
candle lights opposing the illegal detention of Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy.
