Vijayawada: YSRCP official spokesperson Jogi Ramesh challenged AP irrigation Minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao for an open debate on Polavaram project. He said that the government is trying to deceive the people on one hand and pushing the blame on to the opposition for its failure to complete the project in the stipulated period.
In a scathing attack on the Minister, the YSRCP leader alleged that Devineni Uma best suits as a commission agent, than a Minister. Addressing a press conference in Vijayawada on Thursday, Jogi Ramesh said that no TDP leader have any morale right to talk about Polavaram project.
The YSRCP leader said that the Minister is not competent enough to criticise the Opposition leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who is fighting for the people. Stating that the government failed to mitigate drinking water problem in Mylavaram, the home constituency of the Minister, the YSRCP leader said the Minister should feel shame of his inefficiency.
