Hyderabad: MLAs of YSRCP brought to the speaker’s notice in the assembly that it had been two years since the formation of Chandrababu’s Government but it had not adopted any steps to improve employment in the state. MLAs including Srikanth Reddy, SV Mohan Reddy and Chand Basha raised this issue during the question hour of the assembly sessions. They primarily criticized the Government’s recent statement that there was no Government scheme to give stipend to the unemployed. They reminded that the TDP election manifesto had promised to provide employment and if not possible it would provide stipend to the unemployed and commented that this was totally forgotten now. Minister of labour and employment generation Achennayudu responded with political criticism as usual.
