Jagan never violated Mulakat rules: YSRCP
16 Apr 2013 4:44 PM
Hyderabad, April 16,
2013: Rejecting the allegations that YSRCP chief Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has
been violating the Mulakat rules of Chanchalguda jail, the party on Tuesday
dared the Congress Government to hold an inquiry to find the out the truth.
YSR Congress
Legislature Party Deputy Leader Sobha Nagi Reddy told a media conference here
that the allegations were only part of conspiracy to move Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy
out of the state. “A plan was afoot to move Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy to some other
states,”
“There is no violation
of Mulakat rules. This was also made clear by the DG of Jails Department
Krishnam Raju. Even the jail superintendent also threw a challenge to the
Congress and TDP leaders to prove their charges,” she said, asking the Congress
Government to prove the charges through an inquiry.
Sobha Nagi Reddy
alleged that the Congress and TDP leaders have brought the alleged Mulakat rule
violation to the fore as part of the plan to move the YSRCP chief out of the
state, unable to control the migration of their party leaders to it.
Both the Congress and
TDP leaders have even become envious of the YSR family members meeting Sri
Jagan Mohan Reddy in the jail. “That the Congress and TDP leaders have been
repeatedly making the same allegations despite the denial by several YSRCP
leaders has only proved the conspiracy part.”
Even CM Kiran Kumar
Reddy and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu are hinting to their leaders over the
last ten days that Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy would be moved out of the state soon
and asking them not migrate to YSRCP, she said, adding this was all part of the
conspiracy being set in motion by Congress and TDP which fear for their
political survival. Dancing to their tunes, their captive media has been spreading
the same stories.
“First they thought
YSRCP would close shop if our president was arrested and jailed. But their plan
boomeranged on them as YSRCP captured most of the seats in the June 2012 by
polls and was getting stronger day by day. Neither Congress nor TDP retained their
deposits in the 50 by polls held so far after our leader was arrested,” she
said.
The recent statements
of Minister Anam Ramnarayana Reddy, Congress MP V. Hanumantha Rao and other
ministers were the orchestrated ones as per the screenplay and direction of the
Congress leadership to cause further trouble to Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy, she
alleged.
Sobha
slams double standards over 26 GOs
Sobha Nagi Reddy
questioned the double standards of the Congress leaders over the issue of 26
GOs. While the accused ministers told the Supreme Court there was no pressure
on them by any one nor did they violate any rule in signing the GOs, Ministers
Anam and others are telling that they signed the GOs under pressure. “How can
you substantiate this double talk?’
Sobha Nagi Reddy
observed that Congress leadership has managed Chandrababu Naidu as it has done
in case of Mulayam Singh Yadav and Mayawati for the survival of its Government
in the state by threatening him with CBI cases. That is why Naidu escaped CBI
investigation into his misdeeds.
CBI seems to be not
following the Cr PC or IPC, she said and added: “The investigating agency is only
following the code given by the APCC or AICC.
But, Naidu will not be
able to support this anti-people Government for so long, she said, adding the
day is not far off when people will teach them a fitting lesson.
