Guntur, March 26, 2013:
Asserting that a leader should emerge from the people, Smt. Y. S. Sharmila has
said neither TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu nor CM Kiran Kumar Reddy is a people’s
leader.
Participating in a hugely
attended Rachchabanda programme at Undavelli in Tadepally Mandalam of Guntur
district on the 101st day on Monday, she observed while Chandrababu
Naidu became a leader through back door method by backstabbing his
father-in-law and the late legendary actor NTR, CM Kiran Kumar Reddy is a
sealed cover leader.
“A leader should be
born from people, stand for people and be with the people in their good and
bad,” Smt. Sharmila said in an authoritative tone, adding such leaders are not leaders
and would never know the heartbeat of the people. She said the state is now unfortunately
in the hands of such people who are not genuine leaders.
Reiterating that YSR
Congress chief Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has emerged as a leader from the
aspirations of the people, she said he would always stand for the people, be
with the people and work for the people. “He knows the heartbeat of the
people.”
Expressing anxiety over
the suffering of the students who are unable to cope up with their studies during
the examination time in the absence of power supply even for four hours a day, Smt.
Sharmila said the heartless government is not worried over people’s problems.
Listing out the
government’s failures, she said while YSR always discharged his duties and responsibilities
as CM like a father and did justice for all sections, the present government
has given up its duties leaving suffering to all.
“Instead, it conspired
with TDP and killed the democracy in the state by sending Sri Y.S.Jagan Mohan
Reddy to jail illegally. But, he will come out one day to establish the Rajanna
Rajyam and take care of the public welfare,” she said.
