Hyderabad, March 5: Leader of Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has led a protest march
to the Assembly along with Party MLAs against the corrupt practices of
the TDP government which has neglected people’s interests at all levels.
Before embarking on the march wearing black scarf, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said their protest was against the various issues, more so on the large scale corruption of the TDP government and the shameless conduct of the Chief Minister in encouraging such activities and defections.
‘The march is against his dictatorial attitude and anti-people policies, trading MLAs with the ill-gotten wealth in various scams and the murky scam in the capital region and real estate business which has seen the alienation of and by the dalits.
The mischief played in the capital area, by sending out the beforehand knowledge of capital city to his coterie and allowing them to buy large extent of land, before the announcement of the capital area and craftily changing the alignment and fixing the zonal limits for the advantage of the his favoured parties at the cost the dalits and poor farmers which is highly condemnable.
The protest is also against the illegal land dealing of TDP leaders under the benami names in the capital area region and other scams and irregularities.
The wealth thus stashed away has been used to lure MLAs to switchover with huge offerings which is anti-democratic and the asking rate was said to be around Rs 20 to Rs 30 crores per MLA.
This is the protest march that would expose the corruption deeds of the TDP government and its dictatorial attitude,’ he said.
