'If they were scared, they should not have invited me'

Vijayawada: YSR Congress Party MLA Roja demanded to know if the TDP government was scared to let her attend the ongoing National Women's Parliament.

Speaking in a cell phone video from a police vehicle, Roja said "The TDP government is spending over Rs 11 crore for the meet and invited many MLAs and parliamentarians from across the country. But they do not want me at the event. If they were scared, they should not have invited me," she claimed.

Roja was detained at the Gannavaram airport in Vijayawada after she arrived to attend the National Women's Parliament in Vijayawada.
