Hyderabad:
YSRCP's MP and General Secretary Vijay Sai Reddy mentioned that he would work
with commitment for the benefits of the state and would act as per the
suggestions of the leader of opposition and YSRCP president YS Jagan and the
parliamentary party leaders. He stated that YSRCP had been fighting for special
status since two years and the fight would continue till it was achieved.
Vijay Sai Reddy informed that the party would meet on the 14th of this month to
discuss the action plan towards the Government's deception. He also stated that
'Gadapagadapaku YSRCP' programme would be held on the 8th of July on account of
YSR's birth anniversary.
Vijay Sai Reddy mentioned that he would not boast about doing wonders as the
only member from YSRCP in Rajya Sabha but would be determined to bring the
problems of the state to the notice of the Government and work for their
alleviation. He confided that he would continue to put effort in the party’s development
as he had always done in the direction of getting it ready to face elections.
He mentioned that he would play his role in the Rajya Sabha in such an
efficient way that he would successfully complete his 6-year tenure.
Upon
reaching the assembly this morning, Vijay Sai Reddy was handed over the
confirmation letter about his election for Rajya Sabha by the elections returning
officer and assembly secretary Satyanarayana. His unanimous election for Rajya
Sabha marked his name as the first leader from YSRCP to attend Rajya Sabha as a
member.
