I have never insulted the house or Speaker: Ambati

Guntur : YSRCP official spokesperson Ambati Rambabu has said that he has immense and unflinching faith in the institution of legislative assembly and its speaker.
Responding to the Telugu Desam Party MLAs demand that a privilege motion be moved against Ambati for criticising Kodela Sivaprasad, Ambati Rambabu said he had never insulted either the house or its Speaker. He said he was ready to apologise too if anyone felt that he had demeaned the Speaker.
He said political criticism of K Sivaprasad was a matter of right and responsibility for him. He said Kodela was his political rival and had won by just 924 votes over him in the 2014 elections at Sattenapalli in Guntur district. Ever since, Kodela has been harassing me, my party and my party workers. Cases have been foisted against him and history-sheets have been opened against YSRCP workers, Ambati said. He said taking on his political rival was his democratic right.
