Grand Welcome To The Jananeta At Amaravathi

Amaravathi: As he reached the capital city to attend the first assembly budget sessions to happen in the new building, the leader of opposition in AP and YSRCP president, YS Jagan, was grandly welcomed by people and party leaders and activists. He was also greeted and welcomed warmly at Gannavaram airport and at Kesaraalli village.

Villagers of Penumaka laid flowers on roads as a sign of welcome to the Jananeta, who then decorated the statue of Dr. YS Rajasekhar Reddy with flower garlands and paid tribute to him. Women offered him a traditional welcome. Then he reached R&B guesthouse at Vijayawada and assembled with party leaders to discuss action plan for the budget sessions commencing today. It was decided that the opposition party would confront the Government regarding 46 important issues.

Then, accompanied by the party's MLAs and MLCs, YS Jagan reached the temporary assembly building at Velagapudi in a special bus. They received grand welcome there as well. Later, they entered the new YSRCLP chamber amidst vedic hymns being chanted. Vedic priests blessed YS Jagan in a traditional manner.

Party leaders made YS Jagan sit in the chamber and congratulated him. Then they all reached the assembly for the session. MLA RK Roja attended the assembly after a hiatus of one year.
