Tenali: The YSR Congress party senior leader & Guntur MLC Candidate Dr. Ummareddy Venkateswarlu said that because of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu's experiments ignoring Constitution values and the Government's prestige was degraded within one year. He reminded that TDP came into power just with a slight majority of 1.94% in the past elections forming alliances with BJP, Janasena and other parties.
The recent survey showed that TDP Government's prestige declined by 11%, faster than never before in the past. He spoke in Tenali Party Local Representatives meeting presided by Party Constituency Convenor Annabattuni Sivakumar and said that the Rights & Responsibilities of Local Bodies not given by state government but came down as 72 & 73 amendments in Constitution.
He said that Chandrababu is violating the Constitution system by giving posts to the candidates who lost in elections putting aside the People Representatives who won in Local Bodies elections. Chandrababu boasts that all Political Parties must be respected in Democracy but after he came to power he is behaving as if he has no respect to Democracy & Constitution. He said that announcing the winner candidate as their party person is a mistake and explained the matter of Nellore District Parishad.
For the sake of elections Chandrababu gave assurances of Loan waiver to farmers, DWCRA & Handweavers but recently he is telling that RBI, banks and Central Government are not cooperating because those promises were made before seperation of joint state. Because it is not a righteous act YSRCP Chief Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy did not give Loan Waiver promise. He blamed that Chandrababu explained to the Election Commission that he will fulfill the promises with his vast Political experience but he ruined the Banking system by his actions.
The Bank loan outstandings as on last March were Rs.97,975 crores and that would have crossed Rs.1,00,000 crores by now including interests. He said that the effect of this will be seen in coming decade. The Kollipara ZPTC Battiprolu Venkata Lakshmi, Tenali Muncipal Council Opposition Leader Tadiboyina Ramesh, Kollipara Mandal Party President Janga Sivanagi Reddy were present on the stage.
