YSR Kadapa: The leader of
opposition and YSRCP president YS Jagan is on a tour in YSR Kadapa district. He
is carrying out his tour learning about people’s problems and participating in
certain developmental activities. He is pleasantly greeting everyone and
knowing their well-being. As part of his tour, he examined the peanut crop
fields in Inagaluru. Moved by the problems being faced by the farmers, he
slammed the negligence shown by the Government towards the farmers.

“The seeds being supplied
to the farmers by the Government are of very low quality. They were infested.
After sowing, they did not sprout. The very less number of seeds that sprouted
did not last long. The farmers have no option but to plough the fields. This is
a situation where the Government has to bow its head with shame”, exclaimed YS
Jagan. On Wenesday evening, he visited the peanut fields in Inagaluru of Pulivendula
constituency, accompanied by MP Avinash Reddy. They inquired the reasons behind
seed dormancy from farmer Dasaratha Ramireddy. YS Jagan was moved by the
information that the farmers were ploughing their fields due to the seeds’
failing to sprout. He reviewed the situation with agricultural officers right
there. Then he spoke to the media.

He stated that the seeds
had not been sprouting properly even after 15 days. He revealed that the
farmers of Tonduru and Pulivendula mandals were at loss ue to the low quality seeds
supplied by the Government and demanded supply of good quality seeds
immediately free of cost. As there was chance of rainfall till September, he
demanded for the supply latest by the 15th of July. Later, he called
the district collector KV Satyanarayana on phone and explained to him the
situation of the farmers. He requested for going through the agricultural
officers’ reports and seeing that seeds were supplied to the farmers
immediately to not miss the monsoon.

tribal, financially backward and ill-treated castes by providing them special rights
through the constitution, Babu Jagjivan Ram was the great leader who
relentlessly fought throughout his life for the protection of those rights”,
acclaimed YS Jagan. He decorated Babuji’s portrait at the party’s office in
Pulivendula on Wednesday with flowers and paid homage to him on account of his
30th death anniversary. He also admired the srvices rendered by

Please fight for us:
Agrigold victims’ plea to YS Jagan

Victims of Agrigold scam
met YS Jagan at his camp office on Wednesday and pleaded him to fight on their
behalf. They stated that the state Government had already wasted two years of
time in the name of CID inquiry. They revealed that a lot of Agrigold agents
were committing suicide or fleeing due to pressure and due to their inability
to answer the customers or get paid by the company. They complained about the
Government’s negligence towards 40 lakh people turning homeless and requested
YS Jagan’s help. They suggested that he brought pressure on the Government for
1-phase sale of lands in CRDA control through e-auction, thus paying the
victims.

The victims informed
that Agrigold had only Rs.6,300 crore of debts while it had assets of worth
Rs.11,000 crore. They stated that pensioners also saved in it as the company
was 20 years old. YS Jagan heard their agony with patience and assured them of
his support.
