Godavari Delta To Become A Desert Due To Babu

Kakinada: YSRCP's president of East Godavari district, Kurasala Kanna Babu, mentioned that the party was against the attempts being made to change Godavari Delta into a desert. He slammed Chandrababu for his desperate trials in that direction. Speaking to the media at Kakinada, he remarked that Chandrababu had been planning to build a project on River Godavari at Seethanagaram area, just like Pattiseema, mentioning how much Godavari delta had already been suffering due to Pattiseema. Another project on Godavari would only mean changing Godavari Delta into a desert, he complained. He demanded to know why TDP had taken up this project, instead of taking care of the promise made to complete Polavaram project by 2018.
