Future Of AP's Children Being Destroyed

Hyderabad: YSRCP consolidated its fight for special category status. YSRCP president YS Jagan called for state bandh protesting against the behaviour of the union and the state Governments in the matter of AP's special category status. MLAs of YSRCP slammed the Government for bluffing to the people of AP since 2.5 years about the status's sanction.

Union and state Governments are deceiving people: Gowru Charitha Reddy
YSRCP MLA Gowru Charitha Reddy mentioned that the state of AP lost so much due to irregular bifurcation of the united state and over that the union and the state Governments were treating the matter with indifference. Speaking to the media at AP assembly's media point, she recollected how BJP and TDP had suggested at the time of bifurcation that special category status was to be given for 10 years and for 15 years respectively. She slammed the way Arun Jaitley had announced the special package in the midnight and the way Chandrababu's welcoming it immediately. Reiterating that the problem of unemployment in the state would be solved through special status's sanction, she sppealed for making the bandh called for by YS Jagan a success.

Future of children of AP is being destroyed: Rachamallu Siva Prasad Reddy
YSRCP MLA of Proddutur, Rachamallu Siva Prasad Reddy remarked that Chandrababu was spoiling the future of the children of AP for his selfish personal and political benefits. Reminding that the PM of the country had announced the special status in the parliament, he condemned announcement of special package instead. He expressed concern about the situation that would take the state backward by 40-50 years. He commented that asking Chandrababu peacefully was not going to work anymore and that declared  YSRCP would keep fighting until the status was achieved.

BJP and TDP deceived people: Amzad Basha
YSRCP MLA Amzad Basha complained that BJP and TDP had spoken so much about sanctioning special category status to the state prior to elections, but deceived the people after getting into power. He exclaimed that finance minister Arun Jaitley's announcement of special package had watered down the hopes of the people of AP. Speaking to the media at AP assembly's media point, he condemned CM Chandrababu's welcoming the special package in the midnight. Reminding how YSRCP had been fighting from the beginning under the leadership of YS Jagan, he said that the party would continue to fight until the status was achieved. Amzad Basha also reminded how steel factor and aid of Rs.25,000 crore were promised to Rayalaseema area and forgotten. He called for everybody's solidarity the AP bandh to be conducted on the 10th of this month.
