Former Minister Mahidhar Reddy Joins YSRCP

Mandapeta: Inspired by Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh assembly and YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's efforts to understand the problems of the people and his concern for their welfare, many leaders are migrating to YSRCP. Among them is Congress leader belonging to Prakasam district Manugunta Mahidhar Reddy, who joined hands with YS Jagan.

The former minister met YS Jagan who was on his mass outreach programme, Praja Sankalpa Yatra in Mandapeta constituency of East Godavari district today, and in presence of the people's leader, he joined YSRCP. YS Jagan gave him a traditional welcome.

Later speaking to media, Mahidhar Reddy said everyone in the state would support YS Jagan. The state will witness change only under the leadership of the YSRCP Chief and this was the desire of the people, he pointed out. Explaining about the reason for joining YSRCP, he said he was impressed by YS Jagan's ideology and confident that the Leader of Opposition would stand by the ideals of Dr YSR.
