Jijjuvaram (Krishna
District), April 1, 2013: All sections of people will be benefited if YSRCP
chief Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy becomes Chief Minister, Smt. Y.S. Sharmila said
here today.
Interacting with locals
at a Rachchabanda programme at Jijjuvaram in Krishna district on Monday, she
said after YSR, he is the only leader who can ensure equal benefits to all.
Smt. Sharmila said all
sections of people are unhappy with the present Government as it has totally
abdicated the people’s welfare. “During YSR regime, each and every section was
happy. Had YSR been alive today, farmers would have been getting free power
supply for 9-hours a day and 30 kg of rice every month at Rs. 2 a kg,” she
observed, adding that Kiran Kumar Reddy Government has not been implementing
its promises.
With the Government
giving a go-by to the YSR welfare scheme, the poor are finding it difficult to
make both ends meet, she lamented.
Listing out their
plethora of problems, the womenfolk of the village complained about the longer
power cuts, non-arrival of monthly pensions, hefty power bills, abnormal rise
in prices of essential commodities and lack of proper drinking water supplies.
