Development in AP is nil

Visakhapatnam: Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly and YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy today criticized Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu for allotting the contract to build the Amaravati Capital City to Singapore companies inspite of a talent pool of engineering experts in the State.

On the occasion of Engineers Day, the people's leader spoke at an event organised at BRTS Road here as part of his mass outreach programme, Praja Sankalpa Yatra.

YS Jagan said that Chandrababu had betrayed local engineers by allotting construction work to Singapore companies. "Instead of providing opportunities to talented engineers in the State, Chandrababu chose to award the contract to foreign companies. In the last four years of Chandrababu's rule, the development in the State has been nil," he added.

The YSRCP Chief observed that not even a single permanent structure had been laid in Amaravati till now. He thanked the public for their support to his Praja Sankalpa Yatra.
