Demand to bear the loss of farmers

Anantapur: The YSRCP MLA Vishweshwar Reddy examined the damaged crops in Uravakonda district constituency and inquired about the farmers problems. He stated that because of severe flood condition the main crop of ground nut and other crops of pulses were severed damaged. There is no scope to get at least 30 to 40 kg of crop yield per acre. He demanded that government should contribute to the affected farmers and also declare that the place is a drought area.
He also said that the situations are much worse in Anantapur district and that's the reason it is declared as the severe drought condition district. Vishweshwar Reddy also said that as this place is registered for the highest number of suicides in the State is should be declared as a national disaster. He also reminded that almost 3 to 4 lakh of people are migrating to different parts from the district in search of survival is seen in media day in and day out. Vishweshwar Reddy stated that government should take the responsibility for the farmers in the district.
