Defectors should seek fresh mandate

Hyderabad, May 5: The Telangana YSR Congress today has resolved to demand Telangana government to complete all the irrigation projects started by YSR and sought the defected MLAs and MP to quit and seek a fresh mandate.
‘The meeting which was convened by Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy has adopted a resolution disbanding all the district committees and authorising Party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to constitute fresh committees,’ party leader Konda Rahava Reddy told reporters here on Thursday.
We have also resolved to write letters to the Speakers of Lok Sabha and Assembly to disqualify the defectors, he said and demanded that the defectors should quit and seek a fresh mandate.
YSR has begun 36 irrigation projects of which six were completed and the rest were under various stages and we demand that the KCR government should complete them instead of taking up new projects, he said.
The Party has also decided to support the candidature of Sucharitha Reddy on compassionate grounds in the ensuing by-polls, he said.
