Defected MLAs cannot even earn deposits

Hyderabad: YSR Congress Party MLA of Chandragiri constituency  Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy challenged that he would get his head half-shaven if the MLAs who jumped from YSRCP to TDP resigned to their positions and won elections again. On the occasion of Andhra Pradesh assembly budget sessions, he spoke at the assembly media point.

He complained that Babu had done deception, told lies and followed unethical means in his rule to a scale largest in the history of Andhra Pradesh. Chandrababu had been misusing the opportunity that people had given him for his personal and financial selfishness and had been ignoring people’s welfare, proclaimed Chevireddy. He commented that Chandrababu was the only owner, beginner and leader of sand mafia, liquor mafia and capital mafia. Chevireddy complained that Chandrababu had unlawfully earned hundreds of crores of rupees and confused about what to do with them, spent the money to buy opposition party MLAs. He also added that Babu had been trying to convert the black money earned through capital city real estate scam, Godavari pushkarams and Pattiseema project as white money. He also said that Babu had been trying to bluff the people by making defected MLAs say that they had joined him only impressed by the development he had achieved in the state.

He recollected the efforts put forward by YSRCP president YS Jagan’s family in canvassing for these MLAs during general elections. He added that people had voted for these leaders, trusting them as the allies of late Dr.YSR and hoping to see development in their leadership, but not impressed by the face value of these leaders. He mocked their degradedness in falling on the feet of Babu and joining in the party which had tried to defeat them in the elections.

Chevireddy demanded that Babu should come forward for by-elections with development as his agenda. He commented that the 8 defected MLAs would not even get deposits in by-elections. He mocked Chandrababu’s undeserved statements comparing his rule with that of Srikrishna Devaraya. He added that these statements would be backfired if they reached people. He mentioned rumours saying Chandrababu had offered money to those MLAs who would blame YSRCP more in the assembly. He informed that they had handed over a requisition letter to the assembly speaker asking for the disqualification of the defected MLAs and expressed his hope for rightful action of the speaker.

Chevireddy reminded the recent exposure of the corruption of Chandrababu, his son Lokesh, MLAs and ministers purchased hundreds of acres using binami names. He questioned Babu how a person earning Rs.6000 a month would afford to hundreds of acres of land. He complained that everybody including janitors and lectures at Narayana college became binamis. He suggested all the binamis to take away the lands that the ministers and the MLAs bought under their names and benefit from the people’s money. He acclaimed that YS Jaganmohan Reddy was a brave leader who would always bravely and restlessly fight for the cause of the people irrespective of the conspiracies plotted by Chandrababu. He also added that he, along with other YSRCP leaders, would follow his path in view of people’s benefit.
