Court to give decision on YS Bharathi plea
31 Aug 2013 10:30 AM
Hyderabad,
Aug 31, 2013: The designated court on Friday posted for Saturday the memo of YS Bharathi seeking permission to be with
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the Osmania Hospital in view of the seriousness of his
health condition due to the indefinite fast he is on for more than six days.
Keeping
in view the seriousness of the health condition of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, his
wife has filed a private memo to allow either her or Y S Vijayamma to be with
him in the hospital.
The
special court has admitted the memo and posted the case for orders on Saturday.
Meanwhile,
YS Bharathi was not allowed to see YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at the hospital by the
police. They refused to give the permission to see him in the hospital.
Earlier,
the Political Affairs Committee (PAC) of the party has passed a resolution
appealing to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to withdraw the fast in the interest of the
people and the Party was ready to fight many a battle in the days to come.
In
the meantime, Osmania Hospital Superintendent has said that they do not have
the facilities to treat YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and asked the Government to shift
him to another hospital.
Being
a government hospital the inflow of patients would be heavy and medical
services would be affected if YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is in the hospital, he said.
Doctors
have said that Jagan’s health has further deteriorated and if he does not
cooperate, IV fluid would have to be given by force if the situation so
warrants.
