Cong machinations exposed in YSR DCCB poll

Kadapa, Feb 20, 2013: In a day of high drama that marked the
process of election to the Kadapa DCCB chairman’s post which was due today,
Congress succeeded in postponing the election to Thursday through its machinations.

When the YSR Congress leaders and activists turned up
Wednesday morning at the DCCB office along with the elected directors supported
by the party, the officials told the elected directors that the election
officer Chandrasekhar’s whereabouts were not known and they were waiting for
his arrival.

Suspecting something fishy by the ruling Congress party
leaders, leaders of YSR Congress party, which won most of the societies in the
district, resorted to a sit-in demanding the authorities to conduct the
election immediately.

Later, the YSR Congress Party leaders met the Commissioner
of the Cooperative department in Hyderabad Sri Naresh and complained about the
Congress conspiracy to ensure the postponement of the DCCB chairman’s election
fearing defeat at the hands of YSRCP.
