Anantapur: Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu was a cheat and his 40 years of political experience was filled with misdeeds and false promises, YSR Congress Party general secretary Bhumana Karunakar Reddy said. The YSRCP general secretary spoke at Vanchana Pai Garjana (Deception Day protest) organised by YSRCP here today to protest against the negligent attitude of State and Central governments with regard to allotting Special Category Status (SCS) to Andhra Pradesh as well as fulfilling the promises made in the AP State Reorganisation Act.
Bhumana said it was YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who had been sincerely and relentlessly continuing the fight over the last four years demanding Special Category Status to AP. The YSRCP general secretary said that Chandrababu did not even protest for a single day. On the contrary, the AP CM put all the people who protested for SCS behind the bars, he remarked.
He further said that public were today repenting having elected Chandrababu and reminded the people about YS Jagan''s statement saying that YSRCP would support only those who accord SCS to AP. The YSRCP Chief was only the person who had highlighted the benefits of SCS, he added.
