Chandrababu Is A U-turn Uncle

New Delhi: YSRCP MP Vijaya Sai Reddy has accused Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu of being inconsistent in his stand on the Special Category Status (SCS) issue. Following the Parliament adjournment on Wednesday, Vijaya Sai Reddy has spoken to media.

"Chandrababu first said no to the SCS and demanded a special package, now he is after the SCS. He has been totally inconsistent for the past four years. The chief minister should learn to take a stand and stick to it on the issue at least now," the Rajya Sabha MP said. Chandrababu is a "U-turn Uncle", he mocked.

"U-turn Uncle Chandrababu has convened an all party meeting yesterday. It has turned into a failure meeting. No one has faith in him, since he has been doing the flip-flops on the SCS in the past four years. He could not gain anything in yesterday's meeting. Chandrababu has now shifted his stance on the SCS, since the centre denied the special package, through which he had plans of making money. In the presence of media, I want to request U-turn Uncle not to divert the SCS issue. Please take a firm stand in the best interests of the people of the state," said the Parliamentarian.

The YSRCP MP recalled Telangana CM KCR's attitude during the Telangana agitation and questioned if the AP CM could act in such a manner. "The only person who has been fighting for the SCS relentlessly since the last four years is the Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh assembly YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The people of the state know the reality and we need not certify U-turn Uncle. People are the ultimate deciders in democracy," he added.
