Chandrababu Throws Dalit Welfare To the Winds

YSR Congress Party official spokesperson Arun Kumar said that Dalit community has got a raw deal in Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's regime as the government threw the welfare of the scheduled castes to the winds for the last four years.

Addressing the press along with another senior leader K Rajasekhar In Hyderabad party office, Arun alleged that Chandrababu and his cabinet colleague Adinarayana Reddy belittled dalits by making insulting comments against the community for several times.

Instead of distrbuting lands to the poor dalits, Chandrababu government snatched away lands from the poor in the new capital city. Not a single house was constructed for dalits under poor housing scheme in the state. Former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy constructed 42 lakh hosues for the poor in his regime.

The particular community was also left in the lurch by not providing employment opportunities. The recruitment of backlog posts has been pending for years. Funds allocated under SC Sub Plan were also diverted to other sectors , YSR Congress leaders said branded Chandrababu an anti dalit.
