Chandrababu Takes Credit For Others’ Hard Work

Hyderabad, Jan 11: Staking false claims and taking credit for others’ hard work has been the habit of Chandrababu Naidu and bringing water from Gandikota to Pulivendula is not different as it was YSR who had conceived the idea and executed it till the last step while Chandrababu Naidu has inaugurated it amidst fanfare and arrests of local leaders amidst captive and mobilized audience, YSR Congress has said.

‘It has been a habit for Chandrababu Naidu to take credit for everything which is not his; the Paidiplaem lift irrigation project is one such as it was YSR who has done all the ground work, released funds and took the project towards completion (90 %)while Chandrababu Naidu has come at the fag-end and has been claiming all credit though his contribution is very minute but for the fanfare and holding the function with the arrests of local elected representatives which is against the protocol,’ party leader G Srikanth Reddy, MLA told reports here on Wednesday.

Chandrababu Naidu has usurped TDP and Chief Minister Post from NTR and has been taking credit for all the projects YSR has conceived and taken them to near completion stage.

‘He has no love for the people of Rayalaseema as he has been talking in a demeaning manner about the people of the region, district and the area. Gandikota reservoir works were on only after YSR has taking up the issue and moved at a fast pace after he became Chief Minister and he completed 90 % of the works. The successive Congress Chief Ministers could not complete the project and Chandrababu Naidu gave the finishing touch by allotting just Rs 24 crores and has been staking full credit for the project which is unethical, he said.

If the Chief Minister is serious about the welfare if the people of Rayalaseema and wishes their welfare, being a coalition partner of NDA at the Centre, he should seek national status for the Dummugudem-Nagarjunasagar tail pond project, he said. People of Rayalseema have joined the fight of other regions for development, be it for Vizag Steel Plant, Polavaram or other issues but the Chief Minister and TDP has been very shallow in thought and vision. They had never honoured the Sri Bagh Pact and took no steps to set up High Court in Rayalaseema nor did they talk of making Guntakal as a separate railway zone after it was said that Vizag is not feasible for such purpose, he said.
