Chandrababu Should Be Ashamed To Ask For Votes

Chittoor: Chandrababu Naidu stated that the people should be ashamed if they do not vote for the TDP, however, in reality he should be afraid to ask for votes, Leader of Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said.
Addressing a public meeting at Sadum in Punganur constituency on the 53rd day of the Praja Sankalpa Yatra here on Friday, he said Chittoor district did not witness any developmental activities worth the mention since four years of the TDP government. There was an increase of electricity and bus charges thrice in four years, he said. "Chandrababu Naidu should be ashamed to ask for votes when there is no development and prices of essential items have soared beyond the reach of the common man," YS Jagan said.
The chief minister is promoting mafia activities in the name of Janmabhoomi committees, which is evident from the lack of job opportunities in the region, he said. "About 11 acres of land was given by MLA Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy for the construction of a hospital. However, till date the state government has neither constructed the hospital nor given back the said land. Similarly, Punganur RTC depot was constructed more than seven years ago, yet till date no buses were sanctioned. The YSRCP government will ensure efficient administration of the APSRTC that will benefit the employees and the travelling public," the YSRCP chief said. He also assured the people that the YSRCP government will provide Handri-Neeva water for Punganur and mitigate the water woes of the region.
