Chandrababu, the reason behind death of 29 piligrims

Tirupati: Senior leader of the YSR Congress party (YSRCP) Bhumana Karunakar Reddy condemned the politicization of the non-bailable warrant issued to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu. Speaking to media at the press club here today, he felt that it was unfortunate that Chandrababu's yellow media was showcasing the Court's notice as if it was a conspiracy by the Judges. Even if a clerk does not attend a Court hearing, a warrant would be issued, he added. "Is it right to blame it on the BJP when the Maharashtra Court issued notices?" he asked.

Bhumana said that Chandrababu Naidu was trying to disregard the judicial system in the country. Demanding action against the TDP Chief for his comments on the Court notice, he remarked that the corruption in the State government reached its zenith.

Chandrababu Naidu, who was out on bail in 18 cases, has filed cases against the YSRCP leaders and students who were fighting for the Special Category Status, he said. "At least Rs 3,000 crore were wasted during the Godavari-Krishna Pushkarams. Chandrababu was the reason behind the death of 29 piligrims. He has to prove his innocence by facing the probe in the note for vote case,"he added.

The YSRCP leader observed that thousands of cases were filed against Opposition leaders in the past four years.
