Chandrababu Naidu is the don of sand mafia

Pamarru: Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Assembly and YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy named Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu as the don of sand mafia. Speaking at a huge public meeting here today as part of the historic public outreach programme Praja Sankalpa Yatra, YS Jagan said the state was witnessing large scale illegal sand and soil mining happening over the last four years.

YS Jagan alleged that the TDP rule was totally corrupt. He accused the government of completely ignoring the SCs and STs. Chandrababu's promises have created problems for the poor and have not helped them in any way. He asked if the ruling TDP government had constructed a single house, although they promised to build one lakh houses. "The case with farmers was worse, if not similar. They are in trouble because the government was not even providing minimum support price for their produce."

Speaking at the massive gathering, the YSRCP Chief said that the farmers were unable to sell their produce since there was no support from the government. He lamented that the situation of the farmers was very depressing. "Instead of doing away with the middlemen, the AP CM himself has turned into a middleman. After buying the produce from the farmers for a lower rate, they were selling for a higher price at Heritage," he asserted.

YS Jagan expressed shock at the situation in the state and said that over a phone call liquor was being delivered at the doorstep. He said the power tariff was hiked three times in last four years. "Today’s situation was such that only if Chandrababu goes out of power, jobs would be created in the state." His claim of having generated 40 lakh jobs in the state was nothing but a blatant lie, he pointed out.
The Leader of the Opposition was unable to understand the statement of AP CM saying that it was the responsibility of the people in the state to protect him. He told the gathering that it was unfortunate that the TDP Chief had successfully diluted and buried the fight for Special Category Status (SCS) to the state. "If only he had put pressure for SCS, the Centre would have granted it." He said that unfortunately the AP CM was cheating and misleading the public. After having cheated the state and compromised on SCS with the Centre, he was not taking up Dharma Poratam in Tirupati, he said and added that it was yet another drama.
