Kurnool, Jan 7: Reiterating that TDP government has been engineering defections to cover up its failure to keep up promises, Leader of Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has said that Chandrababu Naidu has been trying to create a wedge between family members for political gains.
The Rythu Bharosa Yatra which rolled on to the third day and speaking at Velpanuru he said;’ Chandrababu Naidu has betrayed farmers, students and youth by not keeping up poll promises. He did not fulfill a single poll promise and has been busy trying to lure leaders from opposition party.
He did not fulfil a single poll promise while all sections including farmers, women and students have been bearing the brunt. The loans were not waived for farmers and DWACRA groups while the students are not getting the fees reimbursement and the promise of jobs has vanished into thin air and the unemployment stipend has vanished into thin air, he said.
He has tried to create a wedge in the Budda Sesha Reddy family but we will safeguard his interest at all costs. Sesha Reddy’s brother had crossed over to TDP after winning the Kurnool assembly seat on YSRCP ticket while the former continues to be with YSR Congress despite the luring by Chandrababu Naidu who has been trying to create a rift between family members.
He also interacted with farmers who poured their woes out highlighting the anti-farmer policies of the TDP government.
