Chandrababu Government, a byword for corruption: YS Jagan

Kurnool: Leader of the Opposition and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday asked the people of the state to reject a leader who goes back on promises, dupes people and resorts to misinformation. Addressing a mammoth public meeting at Ooruvakili Centre in Pattikonda town on Friday on the Day 23 of his Praja Sankalpa Yatra, he said Chandrababu Naidu rule has become a byword for corruption. He said no one was happy in the state after Chandrababu Naidu took over as the chief minister.
He said Chandrababu Naidu has done nothing for the people of the state during the last four years of his rule. He said the YSRCP has announced Navaratnalu with a view to bring smiles back on the face of the people of the state. He said the people would be happy only when the Rajanna Rajyam returned. He said his party was eliciting the opinions of the people, based on which the party manifesto would be prepared.
On the TDP engineering defections from the YSRCP, YS Jagan said that Chandrababu Naidu has turned the assembly into a cattle market and has been ''purchasing'' MLAs by shelling out Rs 20 crore to Rs 30 crore. He said the Janma Bhoomi committees formed by the TDP Government have become village-level mafias and are looting everything in the village.
