Kurnool: Srisailam constituency's in-charge, Budda Seshareddy, commented that Chandrababu had cheated the youth by promising at the time of elections to give a job for every household or stipend of Rs.2000 for each of the unemployed persons. Criticising the Government for gaming with the hopes and lives of people, he called for voting for the victory of West Rayalaseema graduate constituency MLC candidate, Vennapoosa Gopal Reddy, former NGO state president, as he canvassed for him on Tuesday in Velugodu.
Speaking on this occasion, Seshareddy opined that special category status was like an elixir for the state that had lost so much through bifurcation. He slammed Chandrababu and Venkaiah Naidu for not even taking the mention of SCS now and for mortgaging Telugu people's honour to Delhi.
He acclaimed the leader of opposition and YSRCP president, YS Jagan, for his relentless fight for the sanction of SCS and called for Vennapoosa in order to offer strength for the SCS movement.
