Chandrababu Dumped Polavaram Project for Commissions

Vijayawada: YSR Congress Party senior leader and official spokesperson Parthasarathi demanded Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to make public all the details pertaining awarding contract works , expenditure incurred and the centrals funds to the multi -purpose Polavaram project. .

Addressing the press , the YSR Congress leader fired a salvo at Chandrababu government for his failure in completing project works. He alleged that unabated corruption was one of the reason for the delay in the works.

Parthasarathi pointed out that centre also nailed the AP government for not send reports with regard to expenditure incurred on the project and utilisation of funds released by the centre. He questioned Chandrababu for not seeking any help to Union Water Resources minister Nitin Gadhkari and the delay in the release of funds from centre during the minster's recent visist to Andhra Pradesh.

The YSR Congress leader said the TDP government has taken up Pattiseema and Purushottampatnam projects only get commissions form the contractors. Crores of rupees public money has been misused in the name of two new projects. He held Chandrababu reponsible to the plights of farmers at polavaram project.
