Chandrababu is the don of illegal mining

Hyderabad: Senior YSR Congress Party leader Bhumana Karunakar Reddy said Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was the don of illegal mining, red sandalwood, sand and soil mafia, grabbing of lands as well as call money. The AP CM nurtured a mining don in every district. He said despite High Court raising objection, the government was cooperating with the mining mafia. Yarapatineni Srinivasa Rao was involved and continues to be involved in illegal mining.

Talking to media here at the central party headquarters today, Bhumana said the police were forcibly arresting YSRCP cadre so that the truth about the illegal mining is not brought out. The police were arresting all those who tried to walk towards the site where mining was being carried out, he observed.

The YSRCP leader said that Chandrababu has mastered the art of managing the officials. He recalled Chandrababu's dirty politics of joining hands with Sonia Gandhi and foisting false cases on YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Now once again he was playing the same game, by trying to implicate YS Jagan's wife, Bharati in false cases.

Bhumana said that Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials Umashankar Goud and Gandhi were agents of Chandrababu. They leaked the papers to be submitted to court to the AP CM. He asked why Chandrababu wasn't saying that Heritage directors Bhuvaneshwari and Bhramini were drawing Rs 9.50 crores as salary.

He challenged Chandrababu over an inquiry into Heritage income. He said the next government would definitely investigate Lokesh's corruption as well as Heritage activities. He reminded the media that Chandrababu's relative Daggubati Venkateshwara Rao has written a book on the AP CM's corruption. The TDP chief was the kingpin of Tuni train burning case and hence the investigation was not being concluded, he added.
