The
Vizag police on Saturday registered a case against YSRCP MLA Giddi Eswari on
charges of making 'objectionable' comments on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister
Chandrababu Naidu. Cases were registed in three police stations under sections
505 (B), 506 2, 124 (A), 307 R/W and 511 of the Indian Penal Code.
The
cases come immediately after the huge success of the anti-Bauxite protest meet
by YSRCP in Vizag Agency. According to YSRCP leaders the government is resort
to vendetta politics after the meeting.
YSRCP organised a massive public meeting demanding the complete withdrawal of
the controversial GO No 97, which allowed bauxite mining in the Agency areas.
