Call Money operators should be punished
13 Dec 2015 11:06 PM
Hyderabad, Dec 13: Demanding the TDP
government to refrain from interfering in the investigation of the Call Money
racket, YSR Congress has said that it will raise the issue in the Assembly as
well.
‘There are reports which point out that
the perpetrators of the crime have links with TDP leaders and are supporters of
the ruling party and there are efforts to cover up the issue, but we demand
that the culprits should be brought to book,’ party spokesperson K
Parthasarathi told reporters here on Sunday.
Ever since Chandrababu Naidu has said in
the Collectors’ Conference that TDP cadre should get a free hand as they have
an election to win, the message has sunk deep and there were incidents of cadre
going berserk.
Officials should comply with the rules
and discharge their duty without favour or prejudice to send a right message
and the issue along with others will be raised in the Assembly session, he
said.
The social crisis has stemmed out of the
failure of Chandababu Naidu to keep up his promise of waiver of DWACRA loans as
many of them were declared as defaulters by banks. Efforts should be on to show
resources for credit for the women groups and increase their economic status,
he said.
