Breach Of Protocol In Pushkaram Inivites

Hyderabad, Aug 12: Taking strong objection to the breach of protocol by Andhra Pradesh Government by not inviting Leader of Opposition on the first day of Krishna Pushkaram along with other dignitaries, YSR Congress Party has said that Chandrababu Naidu governance has been running as per his whims and fancies. ‘Leader of Opposition is a responsible position with a cabinet rank and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was not invited along with other dignitaries which is a breach of protocol and making efforts to send the invite on the second day is unpardonable,’ party spokesperson K Parthasarathi told reporters here on Friday.
Film personalities were on the guest list on the first day of the Pushkarams while the government opted to ignore YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who holds cabinet rank by virtue of the status of Leader of Opposition, he said adding that some TDP leaders are planning to invite our leader after the actual event was over.
The event was done like a domestic affair of the Chief Minister which we condemn, he said adding that the GAD norms of protocol were given a go by. We have made arrangements on our own for our Leader for the Pushkarams and due to some unavoidable circumstances the programme has been postponed to August 18. He will now take the dip on Thursday.
