Speaking on the occasion,
YSRCP senior leaders Dr. M. V. Mysura Reddy, Konatala Ramakrishna and Mekapati
Rajamohana Reddy lashed out at the Congress leadership for dividing the state
for sheer political gains.
“Aided by TDP chief Chandrababu
Naidu’s letter in support of the bifurcation, Congress leadership had taken the
decision to divide the state,” they said, adding that the Congress unilateral decision
had led to the present distress of the state.
“Since the Congress has
failed to render equal justice to all regions, the state must be kept united,”
they averred. The three leaders also recalled the welfare schemes implemented
by YSR during his tenure.
