Bandh total, successful: YSRCP

Jan 3, 2013: Describing as total and success the bandh against the irrational way in
which the division process is taking place, YSR Congress has said that it is
committed for the cause of a united state and will press for a resolution in
the Assembly.
“The bandh call given by our Party has evoked good
response with educational institutions, shops and business establishments being
voluntarily closed and RTC buses being off the roads to express solidarity with
our fight for a untied state,” party MLA G Sreekanth Reddy told reporters here
on Friday.
The bandh call was given by our leader YS
Jagan Mohan Reddy in protest against the way in which the communication of the
draft Bill was sent without taking the assembly consent and the manner in which
Congress has been pushing through the issue.
While Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has been
totally cooperating with the high command and signing on the dotted line with
total submission. However, he has been posing as if he has been championing the
cause of a united state which is only a ploy to fool the people.
TDP leader N Chadnrababu Naidu as well has been
extending full support to Congress in the division of the state and has given a
letter to that effect. Though the convenor of TTDP has affirmed it many times,
Naidu never speaks out on the issue when he visits other regions.
The double standards of TDP are well in the open.
YSR Congress has demanded the Government to convene
a special session of assembly to pass a resolution against the division but it
was not conceded. PCC President Botsa Satyanarayana too has reportedly asked
the Chief Minister to pass a resolution but Kiran Kumar Reddy is loyal to the
high command and is going as per its script, he added.
