New Delhi: Though AP CM Chandrababu was caught red-handed in Cash for Vote case, he was pushing time by getting stay from the court, YSRCP MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy commented. He questioned why Chandrababu was getting stay if he was innocent.
Chandrababu was caught red-handed in Cash for Vote case. He had attempted to buy Telangana MLAs with black money, RK commnted. He confided that teh voice in the audio tapes was certainly Chandrababu's. Stating that Chandrababu being punished was inevitable, he reminded how the Supreme Court had imposed time limit of 4 weeks on argument over Babu's quash petition.
After Alla Ramakrishna Reddy's lawyer, Shekhar Naphade made his point, Siddharth Luthra, the defending lawyer also argued. The Supreme Court judge sternly questioned Luthra how a case registered under anti-corruption law could be given stay, wondering how the High Court had given stay on this case in the first place.
